Ex-alcaldesa de Santa Ana deberá pagar $700k por irregularidades en su gestión

La Corte de Cuentas de la República (CCR) realizó auditorías que señalan que Milena de Escalón, exalcaldesa de Santa Ana por el partido ARENA, deberá pagar un total de $703,138 junto a 19 miembros de su concejo municipal en concepto de responsabilidad patrimonial y administrativa por cinco reparos de corrupción durante su administración en el periodo del 1 de mayo al 31 de diciembre de 2018.

Existe una mora tributaria de $631,147.43 acumulada durante su administración, cuyo monto es por mora tributaria que prescribió en el período auditado, según el detalle: $56,052.48 pertenece a empresas y $575,094.95 a propietarios de inmuebles, detalla el reporte de la auditoria. Según el informe, la deficiencia fue ocasionada por no tomar las acciones para su tratamiento y recuperación. Además, el concejo municipal, juntamente con las jefaturas no realizaron gestiones para que se ordenara el cobro judicial ejecutivo de los saldos señalados.
