¡En beneficio de los tecleños! Alcalde de Santa Tecla, Henry Flores, anuncia iluminación del Bulevar Sur

Esta mañana, el alcalde del municipio de Santa Tecla, Henry Flores, participó de «La Tertulia con Medardo Alfaro», un programa de televisión nacional transmitido en el canal 23, por TVO. En dicho espacio televisivo, el edil tecleño anunció la iluminación del Bulevar Sur, un nuevo proyecto que será de gran beneficio para los habitantes de la ciudad y que había sido ignorado por las administraciones anteriores.

«Quiero anunciar a los tecleños que este año vamos a iluminar el Bulevar Sur, algo que no hizo ninguna administración anterior, a pesar de la necesidad que ha existido de seguridad en la zona», dijo el jefe edilicio.

El alcalde Henry Flores también destacó que, en gestión municipal, se inició un reordenamiento en el Centro Histórico y que ya han ordenado 14 calles, algo que no se hizo en los últimos 15 años, gracias al buen diálogo mantenido con los comerciantes. «Antes, en otras administraciones, intentaban ordenar a los comerciantes de una manera negativa, no por la vía del diálogo», aseguró.

Asimismo, detalló que la segunda parte del reordenamiento de Santa Tecla, después de este proceso de diálogo con los comerciantes y que el Centro Histórico esté ordenado, es hablar con los empresarios, para que apoyen a la municipalidad con la pintura y con la creación de murales.

Por otra parte, el alcalde de Santa Tecla aseguró que se ha triplicado la cantidad de personal que se dedica a los trabajos de limpieza en los parques del municipio con el objetivo de que siempre permanezcan relucientes. «Hacemos un llamado a la población a botar la basura en su lugar. De hecho, hemos puesto basureros en todos los parques. También, hemos colocado botellones de reciclaje gracias a La Constancia y a Fundemas», agregó.

También destacó que Santa Tecla es la primera municipalidad en tener una Dirección de Responsabilidad Social, que continúa apostado por proyectos como la Academia de Idiomas, donde son beneficiadas más de 800 niños y jóvenes.
